Gabrielle Mangano is a lens-based artist from Brooklyn, New York currently living in the Rockaways. Her photographic and video work depicts the disturbing but poetic qualities of raw states of experience. Gabrielle is exploring the notion of mental deterioration as it affects the individual emotionally and physically. Drawing from personal and internal concern, she creates sequences of imagery that express this reoccurring theme of decay in her life.

Gabrielle has recently received a Masters of Fine Arts in Photography, Video & Other Related Media at the School of Visual Arts.
